A big congrats to Jeannie, the newest Featured Stamper! She has a wonderful gallery full of color & beautiful coloring! It was hard to choose, put I fell in love with THIS card and decided to Case it. I love the triple panels with the image in different places so I kept that. But I used different images, left off a few layers and had to move my greeting because of its size.
I stamped the palm tree & hula pig in the center panel and the dancing pig & palm tree in the other 2. I colored them w/ Copics & added some white highlights on the water w/ a white gel pen & the surf w/ Copic opaque paint. I made the center panel a little wider & longer than the other two. I used the splatter bg w/ the white & sand inks to add a little texture to the sand. Part of the greeting was stamped on the tan textured panel & the rest was stamped on a little die cut oval.
Congrats again, Jeannie! It's just been posted on my blog w/ the colors of Copics I used: The Write Stuff

This is adorable and a wonderful tribute to our FS. At first glance I thought this was a comic from the paper...so well created! Now give me that grass skirt.....

SCS has introduced me to some wonderful and fun stamps - and these piggies are fabulous Julie. You have created a card that would be so useful for many different occasions, not to mention every card for a friend of mine who sponsors a pig IRL !! Jeannie will love it!
