Today's Ways to Use It challenges us to use non-traditional materials (non-paper) on our cards. I thought of cork mixed with the leaves right away and decided to cut my leaves out of felt. I had the burlap piece already cut and on my desk and thought it tied the elements together well. I stamped my sentiment in Versamark and embossed in Early Espresso ep. I softened the edges of my bg dp with some sponged Suede. I added the tiny pearl accents.

Your fabulous woodgrain background makes the perfect rustic setting for your cork and burlap. I have to admit that my choice of burlap for my second card today was largely inspired by seeing you use it so well so often.

I love the simplicity of this card using three non traditional elements. The tiny pearls add something unexpected but I think they look just right on this. Really well done Gail!
