What pretty colors for today's Color Challenge! They make me think of flowers. I don't have the exact colors (never do, lol), but I think these are close enough. I didn't use any metallic gold, just the gold yellow in the little flowers.
This was just a tad tricky to put the flowers in the jar & have it look “correct”. I first stamped the flowers & masked the stems before stamping the mason jar on top. I stamped just the top of the mason jar on a separate piece & after coloring everything, I cut out the 2 horizontal bands of the jar & attached them on top of the corresponding area on my base image. I added a little splatter. On the background, I stamped the 2 flowers using the grape & posy inks & I used generational stamping with these…meaning I stamped them more than once before reinking.
Thanks so much for looking! It's on my blog w/ the colors of Copics I used: The Write Stuff

Julie, this is BEAUTIFUL....but ALL your cards are. You are smart and talented in figuring out how to stamp a bouquet and put it into a glass jar. The results are wonderful....and your coloring is outstanding. The bg DP you created is equally as fabulous...yet doesn't distract from your beautiful image panel.
(Thank you for your sweet words too. I appreciate it.)
