Like a lot of you, I used to do this type of sponging back in the day. Thanks Sabrina for this challenge sparking inspiration I forgot about. hehe.....details...
I sponged my "pillow top" on w/c paper, spritzing with water to give it a blurry look.
Using a die cut and gelli print I cut out the flowers gluing more gelli prints behind them. Added the white and black dots for fun.
The flower pot was cut out of some gelli tape I made the other day adding the doodle lines for dimension.
Layered my panel with white cs that I drew lines on the edges to make you think of ruffles on a pillow. SO, think ruffles when you look at this. hehe
Put this altogether on a kraft card, adding more doodles and buttons and a little too much shading.
Well, there you have it. Another fun day in card making land. Have a great rest of the day everyone! TFL :0)

Looks like you had a ton of fun with this, Cathy What funky flowers and pot. I had never heard of or done this technique, but sounds like you were all over it back in the dawn of stamping days I also don't know what all this gelli stuff is, but I'm usually the last one on the bus;)

Oh Cathy - the spritzing has given this a wonderful look, just like real fabric and so dimensional. The buttons and the wonderful prints you used to piece your flowers just add to the textile feel - along with your DIY ruffling . This looks as if I should find it next time I visit the annual quilting and patchwork exhibition in the Botanic Gardens here!!
