This layout is so totally different from my usual style! I am not a one-photo, everything but the kitchen sink kind of scrapper, but I had a story to tell so I tried something a little out of my comfort zone. I wanted to memorialize my younger son's habit of saying "No offense, but . . . " and then proceeding to say the rudest things, thinking it was okay as long as he started with "no offense!" Fortunately, he's grown out of it, but it was rather hilarious in a horrible way while it lasted. The layout pattern is from Sketch 'n Scrap, and all the die-cut were from my CTMH Cricut cartridges' leftovers box. Except for the title, no new cardstock was cut in the making of this layout - LOL!

Lol! My oldest went through that stage and not too long ago...she's 18 so maybe when she was 16...totally scrap lifting this!!! LOVE the layout a great way to journal about something you don't have an exact photo to show off.

This is wonderful, I love all of the elements!! This looks like a page to be published! And you can only hope that he learns that "no offense" does not excuse rude!

You do well "out of your comfort zone," Cheryl. I love how this turned out! It is rare to see a one-pager from you! You added so many fun embellies, but there's no cluttery feel. Aren't you glad kids go through "phases" and hopefully they don't last too long? lol
