This is for IC438 and The Grommet is our inspiration site. This is my second project for this challenge and I was inspired by the Hand Embroidered Nightgown with the multi colored flowers found here: http://www.thegrommet.com/haiti-proj...red-nightgowns.
My plan originally was to use all three of the colors of the flowers on this but I ended up liking all pink the bet. So I used pink in the flowers, butterflies and stamped pink hedges in the backgrounds of both the inside and outside of the card. I just got this pop up Garden Bench die set and All Seasons Tree in the mail this week. I couldn't wait to try making a project with them. This really took lots of time but I am so happy with how my first attempt turned out. I wanted the front to have the open fence gate inviting you in and to be the preview of the inside. The next time I may try to figure out how to add the fence to the inside wall behind the bench. My favorite thing on this scene is the little bouquet of flowers tied with a matching bow and placed on the bench seat. I just recently got this bench die and the tree die - finicky, a bit - but so much fun to play with. Love your card - especially that little bouquet on the bench. I may have to "borrow" that idea for my next bench card. Thanks for always providing such amazing inspiration!

WOW...that bench is so lovely with all the pink flowers surrounding it and the bouquet is such a clever detail. Love the green stamped base, too...it really brings it all together!
