I wanted to try the faux glass technique that was recently posted on SCS. I didn't have the alcohol re-inkers, blending solution or fixatives needed for the technique (I only had the plastic!) But I still gave it my best shot by scribbling on my craft sheet with copic markers and picking up the color with a piece of felt which was slightly wet with rubbing alcohol. I think if I had the proper supplies it would have been a lot easier. The butterfly is so beautiful in real life. You can see a close-up here.

Beautiful butterfly! The effect you achieved with your adapted supplies is wonderful! Of course the setting you placed your 'fly in plays a major role in why I love this card. A beautiful whole. TFS
