This card is for two of this week's challenges, SC485 sketch challenge and WT476, to use a tree in honor of Arbor Day.
I really like this sketch, and used the thumping technique on the leaves of the Bonsai tree to get a varied color. First, I colored the leaves on the stamp with the direct-to-rubber technique, using my Old Olive Marker. Then I "thumped" randomly over the leaf area with my Always Artichoke marker. I really like the effect this gives.
I've had this set for several years, and have never used this image and the sentiment, so I figured it was time!

A perfect time to use it and glad you did...so neat. I like bonzai trees and think it would be neat one day to try and grow and shape one...great job with the challenges....TFS..;0)
