Another version of the mosaic assembled on double-sided carpet tape. I used glitter to fill in some unplanned gaps between strips. The strips were created using a modified quilting technique: lay strips of various widths (pre-stamped, colored, patterned, etc. -- scraps or planned) onto one side of carpet tape, in parallel, until tape is covered. Then cross cut into new strips and apply them to another piece of tape. Mat this piece and apply to the card front. Another reason to save scraps and trimmings! Every piece is different.

Very cool! I love the quilts that my mom has made using this technique with fabric. Never would have thought to use it on my paper scraps, though! I think I need some carpet tape! My overstuffed "mistake" folder thanks you!
