My DGD is 18 today. We share our birthday & went to lunch & did some shopping today. I used Peggy's Point me to a Real Pie (no dessert)CC & Janette's SC today. I love the colors together & this is a great sketch.
For the sketch I made the #2 & #3 panels the big candles. They are Darice & in a package of 3 narrow ef. I cut them out. The red panel is embossed with the number ef but you really can't tell. I used the clouds as a backdrop for the balloons, tied together with red twine. The modern label punch was perfect for the greeting.
I'm not sure I like this but I think Nicole will.
Thanks for stopping by.

This is wonderful! The first thought in my head was "where'd she get that great big candle die?" Love them, they look really cool, and I love that you used clouds behind the balloons. Great job!

What a fun day for both of you. HB! I LOVE those candles as one of the panels. I spent yesterday with my two almost 17 yr. old DGD's, and have had one of them this week. She goes home tonight, and her place will be taken by her youngest brother for a couple of days. Aren't the grands fun!!!

Happy Birthday, Karen! I hope it was a great day for you. Those are some huge candles, and I really like them! Love the balloons and the age floating in the air right along with them! Such a fun birthday card~
