My card began by stenciling with White molding paste my Tim Holtz Splatters Stencil. After the white paste stenciled images dried the fun began :-)
I replaced the stencil and then sponged several layers of Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake dye inks over the dried paste. I used my heat tool to help dry the ink and then blotted with paper towel. Dries slowly.
I then fussy cut a tree using a template from a tree that was in a Card Candy by my friend Loll. I cut a tree with the dsp and watercolor paper for more thickness.
It was fun adding the oval word window since this weeks WT475 challenge is to use ovals.

I love the texture on your card (and thanks for the method too). The burlap flag behind the tree is super. Thanks so much for playing along with ASM this week!

Great holiday card, Nancy! I love the stenciled BG, with the added color and the tree over the burlap ribbon! You've really got some great texture going on! Kraft, red and white is one of my favorite combinations for Christmas cards.
