Kathy asks us to make a card reflecting our favourite film or film-star.
I'd find it hard to pick out a favourite film, but hands-down my favourite actress is Audrey Hepburn. Hey, she played the original Sabrina before the Julia Ormond remake ;-), and DH knows practically the entire dialogue of My Fair Lady off by heart. This RR Sophia stamp always makes me think of Audrey, especially Breakfast at Tiffany's, though I think my personal favourite film is probably Roman Holiday.
Anyway - to the card!
The base is some wrinkle-free distress I made when I was experimenting to figure out why my new white card doesn't work well with this technique, waah. Iced Spruce, Weathered Wood and Pine Needles, plus some homemade mist for shimmer.
I stamped Very Vintage over it with Versafine Smokey Grey.
The corner overlays are IO Cover-a-Card Swirled Lace embossed in black on vellum and torn.
Edges stitched with black.
RubberRomance Sophia stamped with black on white card and masked. Background stamped with French Script and sponged.
I added some felt roses (MFT die), punched foliage and white pearls.
Sentiment from Carte Postale punched with oval punch and popped up.

Another awsome card...and I agree, Audrey Hepburn is my favorite of all time. The black lace with the red roses is perfect and the stamp is just the right image. It really does make you think of Hepburn. Wonderfully creative, artsy card.

Wasn't she fabulous...elegant and a gamin at the same time. Roman Holiday is my favorite movie of hers too!!! This card is sure like her......love the hat, and the fact that her face is hidden, so you can imagine any face you want.....I see Audrey's!!
