I have this set and have never tried it in a red, white, and blue color scheme. I love it. You have inspired me. This is a super masculine card, which are always the hardest for me.

I can't imagine why you waited so long, Robin, it's a gorgeous image and so nicely decorated! Love the silver nail heads, sponging and pretty nautical dp! The rope stamp is the perfect finishing touch to this beauty for Grandfather~

Awww.... I'm a sucker for anything nautical Robin and this is truly fabulous! I love that little anchor paper (drool!) and you did such an amazing job with the sketch too! Just simply fab chickie!

Beautiful card for a man (though I would love it too)! I really like the rich colour from your red circle. As others have commented the DP and nautical elements you have added really bring this card to life. Quite wonderful!
