I was away last weekend so I missed Birgit's tulip challenge; I'm making up for that by using a daffodil for Tiffany's Spring and/or Easter MIX63 challenge.
I don't use many Easter cards, so I stuck with just Spring, and also combined this with the I'll Take a Slice F4A216 challenge from Dawn.
I think this will go to a friend who's breast cancer has now metastasised to her brain :-(, and she's going through a tough time right now. It's hard to know what to say - but I hope that even getting a card in the mail every couple of weeks lets her know that she's in our thoughts and prayers.
A2 base - in hindsight I should have cut it down the side, but I don't have time to go back to the drawing board.
I stamped the daffodil with gelatos, misting the stamp before stamping. Added some definition with pencils and a gel pen. Stencilled over part of the panel, added Liquid Pearls and a butterfly coloured with pencils and highlighted with Stickles.
For the inside layer I stamped it all with Hardwood, then stamped the verse and added some more Liquid Pearls.

What a beautiful and very supportive card for your friend, Sabrina! The bright yellow daffodil is so pretty! It's so hard to know what to say to someone going through tough times but this card will say "I'm here for you" and that's what counts.

What a fantastic card, and the perfect prayer for your friend. I never use my wood stamp, but yours looks so beautiful here that I am inspired. Your card just "feels" like a walk in a rustic spring field of flowers. Absolutely lovely.

One of my favorite benedictions from the Bible, Sabrina. A lovely card to let your friend know that she is in your thoughts and prayers. Love the hand-drawn quality of your cheery yellow daffodil.
(The lace you used as your backdrop is GORGEOUS!!)
