I am very late to this weeks Teaparty, but I am happy to say that I have posted three of these creepy looking cards to a true legend, Chris.
Chris is the youngest son of our very own Sue aka coffeestamper. Chris has regular scans for brain tumors and he would like to take lots of cards to the hospital for the others kids. How kind and thoughtful hey!
I was half way through fussy cutting little people for a stairstep card when my friend and her nine year old son came to visit. Young Angus left me in no doubt that my card was considered "dumb" for kids!! Plan B....creepy spiders ....the response to these cards was "awesome".
Angus was very impressed with the little box of body parts that I have, he did a stocktake and announced that I am one head and a left foot short of a complete body!!
Have a great week everyone.

I'd LOVE to meet Angus!! He thinks like a kid thinks and it's SO helpful in making cards, especially for boys. Susie, this is fantastic! I can see a young guy enjoying this. I love your background that looks like rocks. Susie, you are the best and most innovative stamper! I'm sorry for laughing that he counted body parts! He is TOO fun! Kids are SO inspirational!

Fun, creative b.d. card design for kids! Looks like Angus had some good advice! I had to laugh when you described him because my cousin, when he was younger, might have said the same thing. Hee. Oh, and taking inventory of the body parts was in keeping with his spider directive. How funny!

LOL, it sounds as counting the bodyparts kept Angus well amused. I used to make beaded spiders for boy cards and they always went down well, so you can bet that these will too. Fabulous grungy background papers too. Phew, I'm glad those spiders aren't real, I've heard a LOT about all your dangerous spiders down there!

Glad you went with the spiders! It will give Chris lots more variety in his collection. Your cards are nice and creepy!
