First time using embossing paste: stenciled pearlescent embossing paste then sprinkled green embossing sparkle powder and set aside to dry for an hour. Heat embossed the sparkle powder. The embossing paste felt dry on top, but I didn’t realize the paper under it was still wet and the paste bubbled. Put wax paper over it and ran it through my Excalibur, while still warm, to flatten the bubbles and dried it more. Die cut it and dry embossed the other side. Printed tulip digi and colored with alcohol inks. Dies: SB/oval, scalloped oval and rectangle. EF: Darice/crackle. My tulips were supposed to be red and yellow, but when I tried to blend it they came out orange and yellow. I do like the shimmer and sparkle on the paste embossed side – very pretty IRL, but hard to photograph.

What a super job you did with your bg. I love modeling paste. Love those tulips, too. The card is beautiful.

Incredibly gorgeous, Priscilla! I can see the shimmer in the honeycomb and what a brilliant idea to run the bubbled paste through your machine! Love the textures on this and the fantastic coloring! A favorite for sure!
