This card uses the SweetCuts die Flower Oval and I layered it on a Spellbinder die and used a punched Martha Stewart butterfly as an accent.
The lavender design is created with Golden Gel Mediums - molding paste and and a Crafter's Workshop stencil. I cleaned the stencil right after it was applied the paste and by this time it's dry so I re positioned the stencil over the design and rubbed on Versa-Mark, removed the stencil poured on the glittered embossing powder and heat set.
I used the Perfect Layers Minis by Perfect Paper Crafting to cut my 1/6" border to the thin white strip going across the card.
Once the card was assembled I thought the top was just to plain so with the Perfect Tears ruler (or you could use the The Perfect Ruler), I used the center zero feature as a guide and placed the die cut circles on the card. This sounds tedious but my system of touching a stick pin to glue then to the back of the cut shape makes for an easy pick up of the circle, I then put it in place on the card, press down with my figure and pull the pin away and it's set.
I save those little negative circles from a Spellbinder A2 Polka Dots die set because I never know when I might use them. The larger circles on the thin layer is from the same set.
