Fun challenge today! I haven't made a long card in quite a while & I thought this image would fit nicely in a long format. The card itself is pretty simple..stamped & colored the image then die cut the frames & attached them on top of the image. The greeting was stamped directly on the 6.25 x 3.50 card front.
The little Candi dots were added because...well, the bottom one was added when I saw a mystery smudge & had to cover it. One didn't seem right, so I added another just above it. Then mystery smudge #2 appeared up on top, so 3 Candi dots it was!
Thanks so much for looking! Close ups & all the colors of Copics I used are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Oh Julie, this is so fantastic!! I LOVE it!!! love the colors and the negative die frame!!! (You should totally put this in the QFTD209 category as it is similar enough to one of Diane's cards...I just used it but didn't do lake/boats so yours would be better, go look)
Love your word brads? as well! Wonderful card!!

What a peaceful dock scene, I am hearing the echo of seagulls just looking at it. Gorgeous shading and the white that you added at the top of the waves is so effective. As for the candi dots, I presumed that you placed them just-so to call to mind the missing nails on a weathered dock. And here you were using them to hide mystery smudges! Tee hee....great card, smudges and all! TFS
