For today's Sketch. When I saw this beauty: Simply Sketched Sympathy by genesis at Splitcoaststampers I knew I had to try the Wash. I used Daffodil, Pumpkin & Sand re-inkers watered down onto pre-wet water color paper. So cool how the colors blend when the paper's wet. I stamped my image in Basic Brown once it was dried, then colored a little using blender pens and ink pads. The image was mounted on suede dp and then popped up onto a tag. I sponged the w c paper in pumpkin and the dp in espresso. I also used the Itty Bitty Bg stamp for the card base and a bit on the image panel, rounded corners on 2 sides and done.
*I was trying to choose a card to case from Lisa (Genesis) gallery, and noticed that I'd already done that just a few days ago! So I'm putting this card into the FS gallery. Your gallery is so full of eye candy, Lisa! Enjoy your week in the spotlight!
Thanks for stopping in today! ~Roberta

Love those little speckles. I just ran across where I had organized all of my itty bitty bg stamps. I haven't used them in a while and now you have motivated me to get them out and ink them up. I did use one today to be the leaves on some bare trees I did. I loved those stamps, always a go to stamp.

This is gorgeous, Roberta! Your color wash turned out beautiful and so did the coloring on your bird! I love how you used itty bitty backgrounds to achieve this awesome effect!
