I did a little experimenting today ... I have thick, clear plastic sheets that I bought to make my own stencils using my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine.
Today, I die-cut a snowflake from the plastic, coated it with crystal effects, covered it with lots and lots of iridescent glitter. Once it was dry, I coated it with a thick layer of crystal effects to seal in the glitter and add dimension to the snowflake. It turned out so pretty. Unfortunately, it does not photograph well ... the glitter has lots of colors in it (pink, blue, purple) that just don't show up.
Adding the glitter to the clear plastic gives the snowflake a frosty (or icy) look - very cool.
For more details, and a close-up picture that shows the snowflake a little better, check out my blog.
