I have been catching up on thank you cards for special things people did for my birthday and this was a thank you for Sherri (sherrird). I waited to post it until I was sure she had recieved it. I used the lattice work 6x6 EF. Then I cut felt butterflies and flowers and then decided which ones I wanted to use. I used the Memory Box Tiny Tendril for the leaves on the Bitty Blossom Spellbinder rose, and the CHeery Lynn Design butterfly with the felt. The panel is scored above and below the sentiment, but you can't really see it in this photograph. I had some challenges making this (I KNOW, it looks like such a SIMPLE design!) but I REALLY loved the outcome of this card. The design idea came from a card on Pinterest that was in a folder on my desktop and I don't know who to give credit for it, but if you recognize it as yours, please pm me and I will edit the details to include you! The felt was from Michaels (.33 a square) and I want to try some other things cut in it, in different colors. If you try cutting felt with your Big Shot, be sure to put a piece of copy paper on the top of the felt so you will know that if it has cut through the piece of paper, it has cut through the felt!
Thank you so much for looking!

Ah, Peggy, I can see the wonderful scoring that you have done on the sentiment piece, it goes so well with the background that you have... I kept looking at your butterfly before I read your description, and wondered if this could be a beautiful pink vellum or something similar..... the felt really makes this pop....such a beautiful shade of pink, and the pink rose is to die for.... Love your creativity on this beauty...... Thanks so much for sharing.... Love it....

This is SO soft and elegant, Peggy. Your felt looks awesome on this and thanks for the tips on cutting it! Love the idea of the felt rose. The recipient must have been thrilled to receive this beauty!
