LOL....I alwyas have a chuckle at something when I make my cards....Today I want to honor this weeks Queen Penny. Come and join us,. You will Love her gallery tour, many designs and color. ....loved her colors and I went for a almost white one...lol...go figure...HERE is the one I finally chose to case...Good Wishes by Penny Ward at Splitcoaststampers
there were so many others but I kept coming back to this pretty butterfly which kept catching my eye. I never think to use just the one color to stamp it. I usually go black and color it in, but this way gives it a softer look...very pretty. I could tell you how this 5 min. card still took like 2 hours...lol...but thats no fun..., but it is ONE reason why I cut out the embossed part and added it separately...lol.
My sentiment was smaller so wanted to add just a bit more of something, so did the same embossed strip and butterfly with a different color just added a couple sstrings of these pretty beads. LIke how it worked...TY Penny for the fun tour and do enjoy your week...well deserved...and TY all for the visit...:0)...HUGS

So pure in it's simplicity, Wendy - the strings of beads are subtle and classic, and your light blue butterfly adds a little pop of beautiful colour without detracting from the clean, clean look!

I had to laugh at what you wrote in your notes....your two hour take on my simple card. Mine probably took that long also as I kept messing up the embossed part. I like how you just said enough and made your embossed section a separate panel. Love the soft blue butterfly and sentiment.
huggies,

So delicate and serene. I love the peacefulness of this card.
