I made this with more of the serendipity squares paper I made back when we had TLC470. I loved this technique so gave it another go, but I loved the bg so much I didn't want to cover it up, so I created an open frame for my verse, stamped that on acetate and embossed in gold and matted that to the back of the frame. Then I stamped, heat embossed and cut out the Bee Balm and the Hummingbird, (used the ODBD Hummingbird Die) and mounted them in front of the frame. I loved how this came out.
For more details about this technique and pictures of how I did it please see this post on my blog.
Thanks so much for looking!

Oh Grace - I'm so happy I spotted this older upload this morning. The open frame idea is brilliant, because I so agree, it seems so wrong to cover up beautiful backgrounds when we've put a lot of work into making them in the first place. And I just love all that gold against your blues.
