I came across this Midnight Muse stamped & punched piece in my leftovers pile when I was looking for something else. Decided to throw together another card in this week's pretty color combo. The twill tape is from a package. I made an outer frame in the Timber stamped Baked Brown Sugar earlier this week and had the square leftover. I even had the little strip of dp. All I added was the button. I punched a hole in the corner and pushed the button through. It came with a metal fastener on the button card so I used that again. I then added two layers of dimensionals on that side of the square and a single one on the opposite side. I embossed my base for a little interest on the background. The inside has a white insert with the same dp at the bottom and a Cherry heart.

Always a winner to use so many scraps AND produce a lovely card. Now, what a neat idea to leave the back on the button and just pop the panel up on dimensionals. I am definitely going to remember that idea for some of my buttons where the idea of trying to cut the shank off has just been too much for me - metal buttons in particular.

Such a sweet card. Love that you used scraps. That has been one of my resolutions this year, and so far I have bought no new paper :-). I did not say anything about stamps - lol. Wonderful card.

Oh, Gail, a girl after my own heart with using scraps - or leftovers! That's how my last card started - and the rest was inspired by sweet Loll! Yes, she surely is an inspiration! Hugs, Gail!
