My new favorite thing to play with is molding paste and add some mixed media and you have a good hour or two of fun ahead. The product I use is Golden Gel Medium -Light Molding Paste, this product is very light weight and flexible which I thought was an important feature when using it on a card. I purchased it at Micheal's in the art department, white 8 oz jar. It's very easy to apply but I suggest cleaning the stencil and knife as soon as you pull it off the cardstock because it dries very fast. Or at least get it in water.
The harlequin patten and leaves coming from under the flower is the molding paste.
I used Ranger Distress Inks to add color then applied Ranger Acrylic Paints using a piece of plastic (shopping bag would work) wrapped over a spongy style stylus or it can be scrunched up in a ball and this actually adds texture if the paint is thick enough.
The flower is popped up with foam tape, the fern like greens and the die cut are attached with Aleene's tacky glue.
Stickles was added to the flower center and the openings in the die.
Paper: Recollections - 110 white for mixed media panel and die cut, Bazzill - lavender/blue textured, pink, AC cardstock - white textured, Stampin Up - light green for punched leaves, Beckett Expressions - Randiance for flower image
