This is a little different for me as it's missing my beloved white space
I got a silhouette cameo cutting machine for Christmas from hubby. I love die-cuts, and this opens up a whole new world of possibilities. I also purchased some thick plastic sheets and used that to cut out my own stencil to use on today's card (swirly design).
I taped it over my card front and sponged randomly with three colors (yellow, orange and pink - one of my favorite combinations). I love how the colors mingled with the sponging to create different shades.
I die-cut the center circle and placed a leaf sprig and blooms in the negative space. I glued the blooms down, each with a large dot of crystal effects and it helps to keep the flowers shaped when it dries.
I made this card for an on-line friend, Anita (in France) that some of you may know from blogging. There is a belated birthday party going on for her with a link up to cards on Darnell's blog (djkardkreations).
Accessories: silhouette cameo, plastic sheet for stencil, sponges, circle nestie, little leaves die (sizzix), hydrangea punch (martha stewart), white gel pen

I love it!!! It still says, "Loll!" even if it isn't your usual style. I think it is just perfect with all it's swirly sponging and pretty die cut flowers.
