I was just going to make one quick card using a piece a fringe I already had in my stash..... 1 1/2 hours later here I am. I had seen several CASEs of this great card by Loll our featured CAS challenge stamper today. I had made this fringe LONG ago (I'm pretty sure I crimped in several directions and then peeled the paper into two and cut the fringe). I thought the cork would look cool against it so I die cut it with my Secret Garden Framelit. I grunged up the Vanilla with stamped spatter and sponging. I penciled in some lines on my base and used my wheel to add some woodgrain then sponged around this before adhering my panel. I used a marker and Versamarker to ink up my sentiment and embossed in EE ep (good thing I used the dark marker too as I didn't get a lot of ep to stick). I ended up adding a bit more spatter to the base too.

This is awesome Gail. I LOVE your fringe!! It is so interesting with the curled edges ... and perfect paired with splatters. A fabulous masculine card! Thanks for taking the time to make two cards for the challenge!! Loll xx
