I used Memento markers to color the tulips and grass: leaves and stems - Cottage Ivy, Bamboo Leaves, tulip blossoms – Lady Bug, Love Letters, Rhubarb Stalk, grass – Cottage Ivy.
I colored the background and filled in the grass with Copic markers: B000, 0000, G24,21
For the striped embossing this is my first creation using a light molding paste from Golden Gel Mediums (purchased at MichaelÂ’s in the art department) and I used it with a striped stencil (Die Cuts with a View purchased at Joann) using a flat edged knife for spreading. This is such fun to use but I suggest keeping a container of water close to put your stencil and knife in immediately after use because the gel dries quickly and I couldnÂ’t clean them until after I brushed on Pearl Ex (pearl in color) to add sparkle before it dried.
I used the stencil Mini Patterned Strips from The CrafterÂ’s Workshop to sponge on the polka dots using Memento - Rhubarb Stalk ink.
I used the Perfect Layers Mini tools from Perfect Paper Crafting and their new mat to cut my 1/16” and ¼” borders. An Exacto craft knife is my cutting tool.
