Congrats to Kim, our Queen for this week. (berlycece) What a wonderful gallery of beautiful and simple (all in one) cards you have to show. I love it when I look and feel like just maybe I could CASE one of them. I have saved more to case than ever before. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful work. This is the card I picked to be inspired by in your honor.
There was a perfect image in the 7 Gypsies mat and I used part of it for the 2nd layer of my BG. I stamped a Victorine Originals sailing ship with VersaMark and embossed it with gold. It sort of gives the "sailing into the sunset" idea. What a thought.
The band on the bottom is embossed with an embossing folder to resemble waves and the sentiment is computer generated.
Thanks Kim for sharing your wonderful cards. Mine is a case in your honor. Enjoy your week.

What a wonderful idea! I love the look of maps and ships, but always find that they blend into each other too much for any one of them to stand out. You have found the perfect solution by heat embossing! Just perfect! Thank you so much for sharing!

WONDERFUL card, Carol! Love the bkgd paper and the old map paper with the emb ship. The emb, dark green strip looks fab and your sentiment surely suits it. NICE work!
