This is my second card for today. The first one turned out too Girly colored to give to DH and this one is perfect and ought to scare him to death. I started out making one just like the first card, but with different colors and didn't intend to upload...
But then I got a Wild Hair! Yup! One of those. And up came this. I just can't get enough of my cityscape. I put that on over a stamped and paper pieced (scraps) Victorine Originals hot air balloon. The sentiment is computer generated and cut out with a spellbinders petite oval die. I sure do like it.

you know what I like about this besides its a way cool scene and the balloon just POPS? ( it looks like it could naturally happen just this way, not a "sletch" although I can see the bones of the sketch in it. ) does that make any sense? cool card Carol.

Love your description of your creative process! Isn't life a hoot when things come together like that? I love that hot air balloon paper piecing and how it looms above the skyline. I can certainly see the sketch in this. Wonderful card!

Wow, I love the city scape, and the hot air balloon is so cool, I can almost imagine it swaying back and forth in a summer breeze, waiting for passengers. I love, love, love this card. It's a fave. tfs.
