to ride...to the Daffodil Festival on Saturday and the weather forecast looks like I'll need my shades! Good thing I'll pedal 43+ miles...the monster cinnamon buns are famous around here!
Thanks so much tessaduck for another thought provoking challenge in the VSN Weather or not 'Mapping it Out. I tore out the 5 day forecast from our local newspaper to use with the sketch challenge today. Added the bicycle paper from one of Basic Grey's newish paper lines, a blue sky background dry embossed with Darci's cloud folder, made an umbrella with the Posh Impressions stamp...in sunny Go 'ducks color...tucking in behind my 'ticket to ride'. Added the ever so stylish B Line Designs sunglasses and there you have it!
So wish me that sunny weather to continue...though if you are an Oregonian, you understand you just go do it anyway...rain or shine! Thanks so much for stopping by today...hope you'll grab a ticket to your hearts' desire...

Wow! Do I ever envy you your above freezing temperatures! We've had 5 inches of snow fall in the last 5 hours and it's not looking to stop for a while. The bicycles need chains on their tires. Love the way you carefully bring all your embellishments to focus on your theme! Great card and have a safe and fun ride! (daffodils? really?) not around here! :-)

Oh my, 43+ miles, those cinnamon buns must be delicious. I love the story of your card and hope you enjoy the festival. Great card, wonderful embellishments.

Well this definitely makes me a tad jealous!! We're in the middle of another snow storm - close to 8 more inches of snow outside and it's still coming down!!! Great card, love all the details and how you've tied it all together.
Have a great bike ride and enjoy those giant cin. rolls!

I grew up in Vancouver.....same attitude about rain....everyone carries an umbrella all the time....just in case. I thought of you when I made my card today.....The stamp I used reminded me of something you would use.....its an old stamp gifted to me by a friend and I just love it. Anyway.......your card is incredibly creative, as always!! TFS!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?

Fun mix of elements. We just had inches of snow with warmer weather to come that will likely lead to flooding.....isn't weather fun! Hope you enjoy your ride and festival!

Gorgeous card. What a neat idea to use the torn out weather forecast. I can only imagine how wonderful the 'above freezing' temperatures would be...sigh*
