Three purposes for this card! One being for the Simon Says Stamp challenge "Anyhing Goes With Pearls" at: http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/we...s-with-pearls/
Another for the new Featured Stamper Jenn Cochran! (FS369) She has a wonderful gallery, varied and very creative. The card I picked was because of its simplicity. It is MAINLY about the bow and the sentiment as is mine. I chose to emboss my back ground while she did not. I used pastels and added a hatpin and pearls to my bow. I die cut my sentiment and hers is stamped. Here is the card I cased: SP and Company-CAS Love-Jenn Cochran by fattire7 at Splitcoaststampers Thank you for the inspiration to try something out of my comfort zone!
The third and final reason for this card is for a thank you for my dear friend Phyl. She and my friend Sue had a birthday lunch for me and they had gone together on a closed out Big Shot for me. I have "broken" two of these in the last 3 years. I think it might be from over shimming....I am trying to be more careful about that, but the present one is already showing signs of misuse, so my back up was a wonderful gift!
I have had this design paper forever. As in, some of the first I ever got! I embossed it with a Crafts Concept EF called Budding VIne. I made a bow with my Bowdabra, then handmade a hatpin with beading jewels from Jo Anns, and placed pearls in a row on the center of the bow, which when finished... I just loved! :-) I placed a few random pearls around the sentiment as well. The sentiment is an old Cutttlebug die, cut twice, glued together to give more depth and placed on the card. It is simple and for once NOT monochromatic :-). Thank you for taking a look! It is much appreciated.

WOW! What a feast for the eyes! The embossed designer paper looks so elegant and that bow- Goodness I've never seen such a luxurious bow before! Your hat pin is the perfect embellishment and so are the pearls! Right into favorites!
