I think you would be shocked if I was ever right on time for a challenge! This is for the challenge (CC467) to use Midnight Muse, Soft Sky and Bermuda Bay with the desert of watercolor challenge.
I cut the window in my watercolor paper. I used the Tim Holtz distress applicators to apply the three SU colors. I then spritzed it with a mist of water. I am afraid the soft sky was over powered by the other two colors and the picture looks quite different then the actual card. It is so much more "blue" than it actually is IRL. I cut the Memory Box Honey Blossom Sprig and tucked it into the window. I cut the Elizabeth Craft Thank You from the same paper that I had made and found three Plastic accents that matched exactly....
This card is also for my dear friend Sue who prepared a birthday gift bag with something to pull each day for a week. I am having so much fun with it...I feel like a little kid. She and my friend Phyl took me to lunch and also went together on a close out Big Shot for a back up for me as I seem to keep braking them! I am a blessed woman...
Thank You for looking!

What gorgeous shades you used to create that blue and love the idea of having "extras" for the die cut! That is something I never think to do. I love the sprig out of the box too! What a beautiful thank you card for her thoughtful gift!

Your watercolored background is so beautiful. Love the all white card front and flower die-cut - it really highlights the beautiful blues from your background. You have such wonderful friends and are truly blessed.
