Happy Sunday everyone. I made this for a few challenges. Today I am honouring our newest featured stamper - Jenn Cochran - fattire7 and our newly crowned Queen - Vicki - luvs2stamp2. Both of these ladies have beautiful works of art in their galleries. Here is Jenn's card Soft Pink and here is Vick's card 0424 by luvs2stamp2
that inspired me. I took a little inspiration from each of the ladies cards.
Enjoy your time in the spotlight, Jenn and Vicki.
This also works for LOVEFEST2014G - to score on your card. I scored the diamond shaped lines and then sponged along two sides fo the diamonds (pillowblock technique).
I made a piece of faux wood paper - I used that for the 1" strip across the card and then added the two pieces of brown ribbon. I made a piece of polished stone paper a while back. I used that to make my vase. I layered vellum overtop of the vase shape. Glued it on with modge podge. Next a added the sentiment - that was stamped on vellum. Adherred it with modge podge. Inked edges of vase with gold metallic pen and added some gold dots to the vase and gold rhinestones by the sentiment. Punched out the butterfly from a scrap of the alcohol ink paper. Attache dthe bow. Flowers, butterfly and vase are popped up. Finished the inside.
Thanks for looking,
Hugs.. Pat

Love your beautiful flowers! What great details you have added to this card; a really fitting tribute to two talented ladies! That sentiment is especially nice. Entirely wonderful card!

Wow... what a beautiful card. I can not believe that you made the bkg paper. I love it. The coloring on the flowers is awesome and your layout, color choice and details look fantastic.
