I guess I will be putting snowflakes on cards as long as it keeps snowing and we keep getting more. It stays white that way, so I'm not complaining. As soon as I saw this purse
I thought of corrugated cardboard. You find that hard to believe?? Well, don't. CCB is one of my favorite things to use on a card. This one happens to be made from a cut up Big Mac Box. (I AM the Recycle Queen)
I punched the squares and inked their edges; then glued a snowflake on each one and added a couple of jewels (that I probably dug up in my back yard) I didn't say that. The twine is not real twine, but something I bought on a big roll at the Thrift Store. I AM happy with this card.

Neat card! Like the graph bkgrd, "natural" look and textures. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. Since the wee hrs, about 1-12/" has accumulated. Light snow is expected to continue through the night so who knows what we will end up with by tomorrow morning? Two pluses ... the snowfall is pretty and it's a warm 14F. Be cozy.

So right, Carol. Waiting for the next sleet/snow storm to roll in! Love your card on the graph bg with the lovely snowflake panels. Lovely natural feeling to your card.

You SHOULD be happy with this card Carol, it's awesome and I just love it!! But you've got me thinking about the bags of recycling I take out every week and what treasures I am probably throwing away. Note to self - check items before recycling! Back to your card... great take on your inspiration piece! TFS

Very cool! Love that you upcycled a McD's box! That put a smile on my face as did your love of corrugated paper. I also love that you are not afraid to continue to use snow flakes, Carol! Great card on all fronts!
