OH! This was so much fun to create! I had so much fun adding the dimension to make this umbrella really pop.
I am a little late to the tea party because I had to wait for Saturday so the umbrella could show up at Speedy Fox first.
NYC is the place to be and we were to bring something of NYC to the party. I went with China Town. When you google China Town you will see a LOT of red and gold but I had my heart set on PINK so I followed my heart with the pink and created gold butterflies using a soda can and alcohol reinkers.
I am also playing along with "Perfect Paper Crafting's" LOVEFEST2014K challenge to add layers. I have 5 layers not including the base.

Great tip how to give the umbrella some dimension, and what a great idea to cut your butterflies out of a soda can and add some ink!! Super cool look!

Hey Angie - welcome to the tea-party! I'm glad you followed your heart and went pink, this is so pretty. And wow - I can't believe the amazing dimension you've given it. The little soda-can butterflies are so sweet, too.
