Hello my friends,
I took part of a calendar to make this, also made my own checked black and white by gluing black strips(1/2) every 1/2" then cutting those every 1/2" and alternating.Made my grandson Jordan, a black and white checked tie that way for his 8th grade graduation. It was a hit! He did a drum solo and he "looked the part"!!
I fussy cut my flower and that little bee above it! Yes, I am a nut! I don't know why I picked October but maybe because my daughter's B.D. is on the 31st.

Wow this is wonderful. I love your big bright flower and they are very cute, glittery bees. The black and white background looks fantastic, I can imagine how cool a tie would look!! Everything about this makes my heart smile sweet Robin.

Black, white, and yellow can't be beat for cheery a gal up! Love the colouring on your sun flower. The fussy cutting sure paid of in maximum impact for your flower. October is one of my favourite months up north. This is a lovely card!
