It's been a long time since my last card, for a variety of reasons. It's true that the more time passes, the harder it is. But I had made up my mind that I needed to do this.
My card will go to my daughter and her husband on the third anniversary of my granddaughter Clare's birthday, March 31. I admire my daughter so much; she works full time as a mental health counselor and has an almost three year old and almost six month old. At her age, I was home, taking care of kids and only teaching music lessons in the evening. I used a grid paper and a date stamp. I like the contrast of the very modern paper and the vintage quilted heart that I salvaged from something, which I made into a balloon with the twine.

(((((Hugs and continued prayers for your family)))))
editing to add...on a third ponder...I love the random dimensional circles and that heart is awesome!!!

The truest saying ever!! Great colors, and love the way you talk about your daughter. That's how I feel about mine, the Attorney with three kids, hubby, 2 cats, a dog, and home! Aren't we lucky!!

Jean, this is such a funny, yet at the same time encouraging, statement about being a Mom/Mum - your card made me smile and I'm sure your daughter will love it. She sounds like superwoman, though I'm sure she doesn't feel like it most of the time!

What a fabulous card! I love the contrast of the red, white and black as well as the quilted heart you used! That sentiment is SO fun! Time to dig mine out again!
