I made this for my DH today...sometimes this pastor-gig is a heavy burden. Thought a bit of Scripture might pick him up. This is a great sketch from Janette that will work well with images or sentiments as any of the three main elements. My base dp has spatter stamped on it and is sponged along the edges. My woodgrain strip is also sponged. I scored around the edges of my square pieces and also sponged and spattered these. My sand dollar is sponged and fussy cut and has a burlap piece behind it. Several of the elements are popped on dimensionals.

I lots of times think of making and giving cards to others, but ashamedly say never think of it with my own family except holidays or birthdays. What a sweet wife and thought. I know this will lift him up as I bet it is many times tough for a pasture and this scripture and all the love inside will be a big blessing for him...wonderful guy card...TFS..:0)

What a blessing this will be and to me too. I am singing the praise tune of this scripture, not out loud...it's 01:00 at my house...but in my heart!!! And it is so beautiful, Gail...the texture, the significance of the sand dollar...the burlap...thinking of Jesus carrying our burdens here...just beautiful!

I bet he appreciates this, Gail. It points to the wonder of creation and therefore the majesty of the Creator, so that's an extra pick-up as well as the Scripture.
