This is for MIX56. I really loved the clever way Lydia used her brayered piece as a moody landscape, but that's not how things went here, obviously. I took the best of my brayered pieces and used it as a resist, overstamping my BG stamp in a pale green dye ink. This gal is a stamp I bought some time ago and have never yet used, but this BG seemed made for her. She came without a sentiment but, looking at her, it wasn't hard to come up with one. I printed it out and then used a Stamp A Ma Jig to get her in place underneath it before die-cutting her and sponging the edges while still in the die. The rest came together extremely quickly, considering my usual meandering pace. Wow. I finished a very vintage card yesterday - today I'm all modern! It was fun. Thanks for the great challenge, Lydia!
BTW, for those of you who missed my confession post last fall, I'm now going by my real name on the forum, which is Robin.
Thanks for looking!

Your designs are SO unique and innovative! WOW! Love the combination of the image and the abstract design on the black brayering. Robin, this is amazing and so is that wonderful, muted color combination!

Woah, Robin. This is striking. What a great combination of colors and love this gal with attitude. Is it my imagination or does she look like Posh Spice?
