This is a card I made for friends who were named the 2014 Farm Family of the Year in this area. It's a pretty big deal in this part of Texas; agriculture is a huge part of life for a large part of the region. It was so nice to see them recognized for their efforts towards water and soil conservation using innovative technologies.
The image and sentiment were computer generated, I layered vellum on top of the image to add softness to the sunrise/sunset. We actually have some hills around here, so the picture is a good representation of Cross farming. I tried hard to use colors that would appeal to the men in the family.
