Audrie took us to West Elm for our IC inspiration site today. I could have stayed on there browsing for half the day. No kidding! I barely made it through two sub-catergories and I was on there for a while. I was inspired by a combination of this room setting and this watercolor art. All the colors made me think of spring. Instead of flowers, I used my FAV butterfly stamp. I used Mel's sketch #5 . My card is also for the LoveFestB "think spring" challenge. I am also submitting it for last Friday's F4A which is to bring sunshine (spring.) Lastly, I am submitting it to the SSBC to use your fav technique or stamp (or both.) This is my fav butterfly stamp and I like to watercolor.
Thank you for looking!
BIG BKGRD STAMPS: Just about every time I ink up a bkgrd stamp, such as this SU Linen, b4 I clean it, I mist it and stamp it again, then one more time. Why: #1 no reason to waste all that ink that is still left on it, #2 creates an awesome watercolored bkgrd, #3 the third stamping is light enough to be a great "canvas" (base) to which you can add more ink and easily stamp on. I let them air dry and then put them inbetween books to keep them flat.

I love everything here Gabby, I can see where the inspiration came from. Thanks for the great tip about stamping extra backgrounds before cleaning. I go through a heap of baby wipes!!! Great card my friend.
