What a fun easy layout today Janette. Hopefully this looks multi layered cuz that is what I was trying to achieve. Al tho, it is actually all done on one piece of paper before being put on a white card that I duct taped the edges.....details...
I drew the sketch on a piece of paper, printed out several copies to use as masks.
I tried something new today with my gelli plate. Instead of using acrylic paints, I used stamping ink pads and a brayer......and let me tell you I am lovin' the results.
Using my masks, I made three prints on one piece of paper with different colored inks. Then I sponged the edges of each square to make them POP!
Stamped the heart three times on cs coloring it with a sharpie and bic marker adding the tiny white dots with acrylic paint and a stylus. Cut them out gluing them on the panel popping one up.
Before putting the hearts on the panel I used a toothbrush and paint to splatter on the black n white specs.
Just bought this checkered duct tape and used it for the edges of the card before taping the panel on top....done.
Well, hope you like my gelli prints with the ink. Have a great evening all.....TFL :0)

What a fabulous effect! I'm so glad to hear that inks work since I have only 7 year old paints here! This is wonderful and love the rich, bold colors. That's amazing with inks! Thanks for sharing you awesome work and your process!

I don't care how much you explain the creation of this fantastic card, I'll never be able to pull this off! You are incredibly and artistically super talented, Kathy!
