This is my card for two challenges: CAS259 "SU Stair-Step Sketch" - where the sentiment is repeated in a stair step layout, and TLC468 "Air Smash" - a take on the fun Spray and Smash Technique. You will need either canned air or a straw and a lot of breath! You will also need alcohol inks, glossy paper and supplies for heat embossing.
I added another twist - I used a piece of white glossy cs to put my inks on, and a piece of black glossy cs to "smash" with. Happy accident - the black rubbed off and mixed with the inks on the white piece for a really cool effect! This flower is from the white piece. .
I followed the tutorial that Judy gave us, adding gold and silver mixatives to the alcohol inks. I used VersaMark to stamp the Hero Arts flower and Fiskars stem, heat embossed with detail black ep and fussy cut the pieces. I used the MB word die to cut multiple pieces and glued them to the bg layer. I figured I had a better shot of them being straight than if I had stamped them! The stem is glued directly to the layer also; the flower is adhered with foam tape.
This was fun but messy! I always forget to use gloves when working with alcohol inks and my hands look terrible! But it's worth it because I just love how it came out!
As always, thanks for looking!

So, I'm not the only one with inky fingers tonight (I used reds so it is pretty obvious and probably long lasting!). Love the added metallics and the way your black blended in.....very cool effect!
