Here is the sample card I made for the second week of Feb. Color Challenge. I used four of the five colors, but in the dp is a small stripe of coral, so I guess you could say I used them all. The theme is nautical, and I had the most fun making the porthole. Because it was so slim, I looked all around for something round that would fit, and happened upon the cap of Tacky Glue, pressed it into the ink pad, and water colored it in with the same gray. I love how it looks.
I paper pieced the sails, curling them just a little bit with my bone folder. The anchor die was lightly sponged with kiwi before I added the banner. I hope you like it.

Ha! I love your porthole too! Very creative solution to your puzzle. Love the ethereal ribbon and the dimension of your sails. It is so much fun being GD with you, Anne - I love how you share your adventures in cardmaking!

So creative you are, Anne!! Isn't it strange some of the things we improvise with to get the results we want. I love your porthole and the starfruit coloring not the anchor.

This is a terrific nautical card Anne!! You did a super job with it. I love the porthole and what looks like little screws on it. I love the over all color effect you got with this too.
