I've been busy trying to come up with 4 monochromatic cards for a class I'm doing with my LSS owner. She has made 4 monochromatic cards and I've finally come up with my 4. The first three were easy (this being one of them), the last one was difficult. I didn't want to case anyone, but ended up casing myself.
My LSS owner (Helene) just got her new catalogs for her primary vendor. She offered to her ladies to go through these catalogs. The plastic sheet that is in the window is one of the products one of her ladies bought. This lady shared them with me, and this card is the second of what I've done with the plastic sheet.
I'll post the other card later on.
I love how this card turned out, plus it was so easy. Now I need to buy a few packages of this plastic for myself! I know that there are two different patterns, I got a sheet of each one!
Thanks Pam and Helene!
Edited to add info on the plastic film. It is by Tsukineko and is Vertigo Film Transluscent Patterned Sheets 6"X6" 3/Pkg This one is called Taffeta. There are 6 different patterns.

I have a lot of trouble with monochromatic but you really nailed it, the shimmery plastic makes such a unique bg for the lovely die-cut flowers - very pretty embossing too!

Jennifer, every card you create is EXQUSITIELY done....as this one. Everything just flows together....you have a tremendous sense of design. Love how you incorporated the new plastic sheet...it DOES look like crinkled taffeta behind your die cut bouquet. TFS the info about it.

Gorgeous pairing of the EF and the die cut and of course the background plastic film ROCKS! It looks like Satin fabric to me! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this card. Perfect with the pop of yellow! Faved and pinned..
