Congratulations Kathleen on becoming our newest featured stampers. What an amazing gallery you have, there are so many cards to case. Here is the fabulous Pelican by the Sea that inspired me.
I used similar colours and I had a Pelican stamp that I had never inked up. Plus I used string. Changed up the layer. I made a frame for the pelican. I recycled some acetate - that was a wrapping from a Xmas present.

Wow! I love that porthole-look frame around your pelican. The distressed papers, cording and colours are so wonderful together! This is a great masculine card though I would be thrilled to receive it myself. :-) Stupendous!
