A Snowflake is Winter's Butterfly!!! This was my card for the second challenge, I showed dimension by popping up my snowflakes and my snowflake butterfly and my banner and also there is dimension with the embossing I did using the Tim Holtz embossing folder on some misc blue grey metallic card stock I had in my stash. I made the butterfly by stamping 2 large snowflakes on vellum with stazon ink and then cutting them out and folding them in half and attaching to a strip of pop foam and running wire down the middle and curling it to form the antenna. I also stamps some other snowflakes and cut them out and popped them up. I stamped the sentiment "A snowflake is winter's butterfly!" on a scrap of white card stock and inked around the edges with faded jeans and cut it into a flag and attached a fuzzy brad on one end and then popped it up for more dimension. Then for some more added sparkle I just had to add some bling from my stash. I had tons of fun making this card. I also used this card as project #60 of 100 for my 100 in 100 day challenge.

Very clever to turn that snowflake into a butterfly!
Thanks for playing along with VSN!
