This week we are off to Inver Grove Heights, MN to celebrate Rose's 103rd birthday! Rose loves flowers and especially roses. I don't know if the flowers in my image are actually roses but lets pretend they are!
I used the Reverse Masking technique to create this. It's the first time I have tried this and I'm pretty happy with the results. Thanks Beate for the tutorial!
I think this may qualify for Joan's TLC challenge this week to make a one layer card look like it has layers without adding cardstock layers.
Snowing like crazy here in MA today and I'm working from home but I'll be commenting on all the beauties in the gallery as time allows. TFL

Wow this is beautiful, you have done an amazing job at making this one layer card, you must be thrilled to bits. Rose is sure in for a terrific tea party.

I think they look like cabbage roses, anyway, they are gorgeous!!! Beautiful "faux" layering too! Love that you have the script in the background! Everything works together perfectly for a very pretty birthday card!!!
