Kyra's challenge to us this week is to create layers upon layers on our projects. Today is Chinese New Year, so I went with that theme. I didn't document my process on the background... but I used dye and Versafine inks, white India ink, gold Delicata ink, gold embossing powder, Crafter's Workshop stencils, plastic canvas, spray paint, and Micro Glaze. The Lanterns are done with a Darice embossing folder. The stamps I used on the background are all from Impression Obsession.
The background on this card is made with a base of watercolor paper. I used the same supplies I listed above, but the effect was somewhat different.

Lovely! It's a great complement to your other card and I'd hate to have to choose between them. I need to check out more details of your cards, so I'll hop over to your blog. I bow to layery-greatness!
